Harper's BAZAAR Malaysia: 10 Things We Love

This month, BAZAAR celebrates fashion’s relentless drive in the pursuit of a brighter future. With diversity kicking into high gear on the runway this season, fashion powerhouses showcase their penchant for rainbows and multicolours from New York and Paris to Milan. With the devotion to a greater world, Alessandro Michele dives deep into mental health with the Gucci Spring/Summer ’20 collection. Models appeared on the runway in a series of straitjackets as the words “Mental Health Is Not Fashion” written on their palms—transporting the idea that sensationalist depictions of mental illness are never okay. ⁣

Bringing more people on board for a sustainable world, Prada and UNESCO teamed up a campaign to raise awareness on the ocean and its resources. Elsewhere, being body positive is more powerful today than it’s ever been. Make way for Mugler and Chromat as the houses made a case for inclusivity by sending curvy models down the runway with corsetry featuring a sporty spin and remarkable lingerie/LBD combo looks arriving en masse. No matter which category you choose to run in, boundaries don’t exist in fashion. Consider this your one-stop guide from each standout pieces as BAZAAR rounded up the “10 Things We Love”, from spirituality, to sustainability. Be sure to check out the full list and look out for more in the March issue.
