How do you levitate mundane, everyday triviality to a secret garden of vivid, beaming thoughts?
You move out from the dusty old bed that defined comfort for you. Emptying minds; be formless and shapeless — like water. When nothing within you stays rigid, that’s when the multifaceted outward space begins to disclose itself.
And this tells the idea about volunteering and bridging gaps between people to cultivate genuine connections while traveling.
The other day I had a conversation with a friend, and he said something along the lines of “... as human beings, we’re so privileged to feel and experience so much”.
Indeed, as Darwin appreciated, while we maneuver ourselves out of cloudy thoughts and traffic cones in our heads, we lead ourselves to one of the most captivated discoveries ever known: evolution.
Embrace splashes of colors and bursting emotions, we’re bound to be engrossed in all of these because we’re given the life to do so.
Meeting Brilliant Minds Over at Idyllic Cyprus
Life is split into 2 parts after you’re exposed to the Erasmus+ Life. November winter citrus tastes even better when days are spent in Agros, Cyprus.
Home to pretty villages, ancient woodlands, the Mediterranean in nature, and of course, do not forget its perennial springs, Agros is where all the magic happens while the training course takes place from Nov 21st, 2021 to Nov 29th, 2021.
Gathering brilliant minds from 9 different countries include Hungary, Greece, North Macedonia, Italy, and more, there were about 25 participants in this training course. It’s a melting pot of cultures and beautiful nuances of language, widespread throughout the days when we learned about each other.
Pink is the color when we play games and lose our minds in ice-breaking sessions; there was the flush of love, fun, and playfulness. Yellow is the color when we listen closely to each other to create mission posters, brainstorm and figure out how to present our ideas, help and guide each other to achieve a common goal in class during our training sessions; optimism and creativity were contagious.
Beige is the color when we're nourished by the traditional mix of herbs and spices present in the dishes; calming and relaxing, many have been captivated by the unique flavors and aromas. Green is the color when we take on day trips to Nicosia and Limassol blessed with the Cypriots’ authentic smiles basked in the sun and abundant historical heritage; it creates such an environment that imbues a peaceful harmony between humans and surroundings. Something which can be felt as soon as you’ve arrived here.
Final Words
Voluntary and training courses like this feel like a building block of civil society. It brings life the noblest aspirations of humankind, such as the pursuit of peace, freedom, opportunities, etc. In this era of globalization, continuous changes, and fleeting moments, and as the world becomes smaller, interdependent, and more complex, memories with the people I’ve met along the journey are something I would cherish for a lifetime.
