Ministry’s MCO advice to women: Wear make-up while WFH, speak to spouse in Doraemon voice

On the subject of running a happy home in the midst of our RMO, Minister of Women, Family and Community Development (KPWKM) Datuk Seri Rina Harun seemingly stressed the importance of one’s appearance, advising work-at-home mothers to “groom as usual”, and to adopt a “Doraemon-like” tone or giggle coyly as opposed to “nagging”. ⁣⁣

On Twitter, lawyer-cum-activist Honey Tan criticised the minister over the PSAs, questioning the minister’s priorities.⁣⁣
